This is a 1 day, instructor-led course.

Overview

This course is designed to help participants build awareness of diversity issues and how inclusion can be a positive part of workplace experience.

Materials and course content are delivered during the first part of the day and each participant will have a tailored 1:1 session during the afternoon while they will develop their own action plan.

Course Objectives

Delegates will aim to:
•    Improve awareness of Equality and Diversity (E&D) issues in the workplace
•    Encourage self-awareness in our own behaviours

Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will:
•   Have an understanding of the legal and historical context of E&D issues
•   Develop awareness of what inclusion really means
•   Recognise that we all have bias, and what this can mean
•   Appreciate the impact of our own and others’ behaviour
